Serious Game - Asteroid Defense Force

A serious game I made for a research project in 2021 designed to improve division learning outcomes of 2nd-4th grade students, where I compared learning outcomes of students who played the game with or without sound, hypothesizing that the students who played the game with sound would be more immersed in the game, thus absorbing more knowledge and improving their learning outcomes. The sample size was too small to draw meaningful conclusions about learning outcomes, but the children enjoyed the game, fighting over their turn to play!
